Hybrid & Tube Amplifiers.

A valve or tube amplifier is a type of electronic amplifier that uses vacuum tubes to increase the amplitude or power of a signal. We enjoy Valve amplifiers still in Hi-Fi to increase harmonics in the system. They allow for “warmer” sound, which can be more pleasant to listen to than a big powerful solid-state amplifier. Tube amplifiers also allow for “tube rolling” which is the practice of changing the valves to alter the sound. Hybrid amplifiers employ a Valve pre-stage and solid-state power output. This is a very effective way of achieving the best of both worlds.
