Dolby Atmos-enabled Speakers.
Dolby Atmos is a multi-channel surround sound format, which sends sound around a room in a more fluid method than traditional 5.1 systems. Its referred to as object-based surround, meaning that it follows the object yours watching on the screen rather than the predetermined five discrete channels. This means that the sound in the room flows better and is more immersive; however, for this to work best, you need a lot more than five speakers. It would be best if you had combinations of speakers from eleven to sixty-four and probably more by the time you read this. These speakers are often called the voice of a god, atmos, height and rear surround speakers etc. they can be pretty small and are often in-ceiling or on-wall; some even point up from your front speakers to the middle of the ceiling and provide a reflected sound back at you on the couch. We can advise on atmos systems and provide a design and installation service.
