Reviews
"The Optoma UHZ50 is decent for watching movies. It provides a good dark-room viewing experience thanks to an impressive native contrast ratio and sufficient brightness, though it's less suited to rooms with ambient light. It also supports HDR, though it has somewhat limited coverage of the wider Rec. 2020 color gamut used in HDR content. It also doesn't display colors very accurately, and calibration doesn't improve them much."

"As a package, the Optoma feels like a good deal if you’re after a plug and play solution that you can dive straight into watching, but it would certainly benefit from an external sound system and a streaming device."
-What Hi-fi
"If you’re looking for a do-it-all projector for sports, gaming and film viewing for a living room, or even outdoors in the summer, the laser light source of the Optoma UHZ50 is perfect for those use cases. It is portable and well-built, with a good mix of features and very good input lag for gaming."

"If you’re looking for an unusually compact, bright and eco-friendly projector for a generally light room, the UHZ66 is worth considering, especially if you’re fond of gaming as well as movies."
-What Hi-fi?
"The Optoma UHZ66 certainly lives up to its billing, with seriously bright images and lightning fast response times, all of which makes it ideal for big screen gaming. Film fans will also appreciate the punchy 4K HDR visuals, although the black levels leave a lot to be desired, and while setup is simple it’s also fairly limited."

"Optoma's new UHZ55 impresses in almost every department. It casts gloriously sharp, punchy images from HD and UHD sources and offers excellent colour fidelity with good dynamics."
-Stereonet
"The Optoma UHZ55 is a bright and capable laser-powered DLP projector that delivers sharply rendered 4K images and HDR with plenty of punch. The motion is buttery smooth, and aside from the lack of 4K/120Hz support this beamer is a great choice for gamers. It’s even certified for WiSA Soundsend wireless audio, allowing you to easily add a sound system for a complete setup.
-TrustedReviews
" If you've a need for speed, and your machine can make use of that 240 Hz refresh rate with high fps, the Optoma UHZ55 is one of the fastest beamers we've tested."
-PCGamer
"The Optoma UHD35 is decent for watching movies. Its native contrast is satisfactory, and its brightness is alright, leading to a pleasant viewing experience in a dark room."
