The Periphery Ring is the perfect accessory/upgrade for listeners with warped records. The periphery ring will flatten your record, allowing your cartridge to track better and making the most of your listening experience. The ring will also help the shelf life of your cartridge by making it easier on the suspension as it tracks the grooves.
Our Stainless Steel Outer Periphery Clamp was first introduced on the HR-X. This clamp centers on the platter, not the record, to provide vacuum-like clamping without the inherent problems in a vacuum system. The VPI Stainless Steel Outer Periphery Clamp is more effective than any other clamp!
