Dr. Feickert Analogue Linear Turntable Power Supply
Linear
In the search for improvements in record playback, we are always looking for new ways to make existing information audible and tangible. In addition to mechanical parameters, the electrical side is also of considerable importance.
The way
led via an approach we took 6 years ago. At that time we wanted to build the ultimate power supply with the maximum possible galvanic isolation. The result at that time was a rechargeable battery power supply, which we developed to the point where it was ready for series production. Unfortunately, it turned out that permanent, trouble-free operation could not be guaranteed in everyday practice…
The solution
we found this by transferring the findings from the development of the battery power supply to a linearly regulated power supply. All the tonal advantages of the rechargeable battery variant could be mapped to the new product – and at a third of the price.
The sound
gains in calm and inner dynamism. Details emerge more clearly – the room size and image gain sharpness and precision. The stage becomes more realistic in width and depth.
