Our Hi-Fi systems, for the most part, are a number of separate components that are all linked together with one common goal – to make your music sound as good as possible. However, we all know that even the slightest change in just one of the many components can result in a dramatic change to the quality of your final audio.
Les Davis’ ‘deceptively simple’ looking products are the result of years of research and development into a modern technology known as Constrained Layer Damping (CLD). This is the process of effectively minimising or suppressing extraneous, unwanted vibrations through each component of your Hi-Fi system.
Although CLD is used in a number of other industries, Les Davis has designed and produced their own CLD material specifically to make sure all of your separate components are working together at their peak performance.
The Les Davis 3D Isolators are designed to be placed under each foot of your audio speakers (or any other desired component) removing both cabinet distortion or electrical noise. As simple as it sounds, the results aren’t subtle. After using the 3D Isolators on my system my final audio held more depth, and was far more impactful than I thought it would be for such a small change.
As well as reducing vibrations after being placed under Hi-Fi components, Les David 3D Isolators can also be used to ground speaker cables, power cables, and interconnects.
I’m not going to lie, before trying out the Les Davis 3D Isolators I didn’t have high expectations as to how much they were going to impact my audio. I thought that because they do look and seem so minimal, that the results in turn would also be minimal. I can safely assure you that this is not at all the case!
If you’re looking to get the best from your system, and want to make sure that all your separate components are performing at the best, I highly recommend considering the Les Davis 3D Isolators for yourself – trust me, you will hear the difference!
